Physical Education

Believe it or not I attended Chatsworth Elementary School many years ago.  I graduated from Murray County High School in 1989.  I received a football scholarship to Furman University.  I graduated from Furman University in 1993 with a degree in Health and Exercise Science.  I later continued my education at Lincoln Memorial University where I received my Masters and Specialist Degrees in Educational Leadership.

This is my 25th year teaching.  My first year teaching was at Lassiter High School in Cobb County Georgia. I also coached football there.  I spent the next 9 years teaching at Murray County High School.  I coached football and golf while at MCHS.  I served as the offensive coordinator for 2 years at North Murray High School.  I am currently in my 15th year teaching Physical Education at Chatsworth Elementary School.

My motto for Physical Education class at Chatsworth Elementary is  "Fitness is Fun".

I am married to my wonderful wife Andrea.  I have 3 children.  Taylor and his wife Hannah are a teachers at Gladden Middle School.  Payton is 20 years old and is a fire fighter.   Jack is in 6th grade and he enjoys reading and all things Star Wars.  I play golf and hunt in what little spare time that I have.
