Subjects Taught
6th Grade, Language Arts, Social Studies

First of all, I graduated from Gordon Central High School in Calhoun, Georgia.  Then, I went to Dalton State College in order to get my Associates in Middle Grades (Social Studies and Language Arts).  Next, I went to Kennesaw State University in order to get my Bachelors.  Finally, during my teaching career, I completed my Masters online at Walden University for "Implementing Technology in the Classroom".

For my first two years, I taught seventh-grade language arts at Bagley Middle.  Then, for two years, I taught sixth-grade language arts to all students and social studies to my homeroom at Chatsworth Elementary.  For the next year at CES, I taught sixth-grade social studies and science to all students.  For this school year at Chatsworth, I am teaching sixth-grade social studies to all students and language arts to my homeroom.

I was born in Dalton, Georgia on the day of October the sixth in 1983.  I have lived in Calhoun, Georgia ever since.  I went to Tolbert Elementary, Ashworth Middle, and then Gordon Central High School.  I have always been a die-hard New England Patriots fan, a Los Angeles Lakers fan, and a Boston Red Sox fan.  I play acoustic / electric guitar, bass guitar, and trumpet.  In high school, I played in marching band, concert band, and jazz band.  I was trumpet section leader for my junior and senior years.  I believe that leadership role and playing music itself is what got me into my teaching career that I now have.  Last but not least, in my free time I enjoy Italian and Chinese food, and I love going to the movies.
