Mrs. Green graduated from Southeast High School in Dalton, Georgia in 1998. She went to Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama where she majored in elementary education. While there she was in the Marching Southerners and played the flute. She graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Education with a concentration of Elementary Education grades K-6 in 2004. She later attended Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona to obtain her Master's in Education: Curriculum and Instruction in 2009. She graduated this summer from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia completing  her degree, Education Specialist: Teaching and Learning.  


Mrs. Green began teaching in 2004, where she taught 3rd grade for five years. She has been teaching 2nd grade since 2009.


Mrs. Green grew up in Murray County, Georgia until she went to college in Jacksonville, Alabama. She lived in Alabama for six years while attending school with her two sisters, Jennifer and Laura. While in Alabama she marched for the Marching Southerners of Jacksonville State University. She played the flute in marching band.

Mrs. Green moved back home to Murray County in 2004 to begin teaching at the school she attended when she was a child, Chatsworth Elementary. Here she taught third grade until 2009, where she moved to teach second grade.

Mrs. Green met her husband in 2006 and married Erik in the summer of 2007. Her husband is currently working on his teaching degree. She and her husband do not currently have any children, but are waiting for God to bless them with one!

Mrs. Green loves spending time with her family. She and her husband enjoy going to football games. They are avid Alabama football fans! Mrs. Green also enjoys hiking and reading for enjoyment.
